Zucchini
Zucchini belongs to the species Cucurbita pepo (gyromontini variety when it comes to common zucchini) within the Cucurbitaceae family.
It is a vegetable whose fruit is harvested immature (before large cavity develops); cylindrical or elongated shape generally, although there are also round, yellow, etc.
